In his mid-30s, Captain Wilson Ford started crabbing commercially in his
early teens. Like most captains, his dad was mostly responsible for
getting him involved with fishing. Although he's a young captain by
many yardsticks, he's learned alot about fishing and making his passengers
appreciate the Bay and the near-shore ocean and all they have to
offer. He's won a variety of tournaments, including but not limited
to the 2006 MSSA Fall Tournament, the 2007 MSSA Spring Tournament (Charterboat
Division), and the latest CCA Virginia Rockfish Shootout (Corporate
Division). He's also a two-time winner of the Ocean City Shark
Tournament.
